We’re actually content that this year the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards had a lot of celebrities that actually made an effort to look flawless on the red carpet, but there were those that no matter how elegant, still didn’t make the cut:

• Sandra Bullock- Beautiful woman, great color, but the gown was quite unsightly.
• Christina Hen- This redhead is a glamour girl, and that cream peach color on her dove complexion was excellent. It is just the gown that made us frown. I recall my cousin’s wedding day, she used  something similar to that dress for her bridesmaids… back in 1992.
• Julianne Moore- Really, do we need to explain why?
• Heidi Klum- Darling, Disney already has a Little Mermaid, they don’t need another one!
• Vanessa Minnillo- Too shiny, yet she lacked luster.
• Gabourey Sidibe- Nothing precious about this look! Read more »

The WORST dressed at the 2009 American Music Awards show are: Alicia Keys (we didn’t hate the dress completely, but the shoes, hair and makeup were horrid), Carrie Underwood (horrible getup it doesn’t look like she even tried), Selena Gomez (we like that she keeps it in her age group, young girls growing up too fast tend to look sleazy and this isn’t the case with the very gorgeous Gomez; however, this dress did nothing for her), Keana Teixeira (Add wings to that dress and she’s a full-blown fairy), Read more »

BEST DRESSED

The BEST and WORST DRESSED ladies of the night for the Conde Nast Media Group’s Fifth Annual Fashion Rocks at Radio City Music Hall in New York City were not that difficult to choose, even though some of them barely made the best dressed list.  We were undecided about Beyonce, but she kept it short and sweet and we liked that.  Ciara, Lydia Hearst, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna and Tyra Banks looked extremely sophisticated and classy. If we have to choose our top two favorite gals of the night it would be CIARA as #1 and Lydia Hearst as #2 they outshined all the others.

WORST DRESSED

Anna Ortiz, Ashanti, Brandy, Fergie, Keisha Cole, Leona Lewis, Solange Knowles, Vivica A. Fox and Lil’Mama made the worst dressed list.  Ortiz looked too plain. Ashanti looked like a show girl, the really cheap ones, and the shoes, were the ugliest things we’ve ever seen. Lewis went all wrong.  Was she trying to cover up cellulite, fat, marks, or what?  Tights with a fine material dress as that one doesn’t always fly.  Brandy, ladies and gentlemen, can now serve as the new GLAD spokesperson for wearing a garbage bag as a dress to this event.  Fergie was too Bohemian.  Keisha Cole was the stripper of the night while Solange Knowles decided to steal the feathers of a peacock and dyed them black.  Vivica A. Fox was not striking, not as bad as all the others, but not good enough to make the best dressed list.

THE MOST RIDICULOUS

And as always Fashkiddos, there’s always one that steals the show for being the MOST RIDICULOUS outfit of the night!   It was a toss up between Solange and her, but we must admit, Lil’Mama took the cake on that one for wearing a bright yellow dress, with a worn out jacket, Mr.T bling-bling, booties, and all of this with a Top Hat, Top That!
