Editor-in-Chief of American VOGUE magazine, Anna Wintour, is almost always seen wearing beige shoes.  Hmmm, we get it, they match her hair. But we were hoping this fashionista would get it together and switch it up by adding some color to her footwear.  Wintour for the love of the fashion gods, you have a signature bob, you don’t need another trademark!

Moschino Cheap & Chic fashion show at Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2009 in Italy. We loved the summer dresses, but felt that many of the jumpers they featured were clownish like. For the most part, they did a good job.

Ralph Lauren Spring/Summer 2009 Fashion Week doesn’t get the gold medal. Does this pain us greatly? Yes, we have our favorites! We are so used to getting quality designs from this designer that we’re not sure if he quite delivered for the upcoming season. Lauren has a way with offering simple colors and designs at the highest level of sophistication. This collection was very cultural, and bold enough for any woman of any background to wear. We absolutely loved the white jumpsuit with the plunging neckline and silk pants. Had he stuck on that route and feature more of that he surely would have received an A+ as it is rare that he gets any less. But he didn’t. He did some of the traveling women, the Indiana Jones look and the suits with bows or neckties that were appealing for the most part and yet again not as flattering. The gold Oscar award looking dress was absolutely horrid. It wasn’t quite what we were expecting. We didn’t love it, but we didn’t abhor it in its entirety.

Emporio Armani fashion show at Milan Fashion Week Womenswear Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Lots of navy blue, dull grays and white, but he stayed on the bleak side, rarely any prints in this show and the ones he used weren’t exciting. We did not see a lot of effort in this line and we’re not sure if any woman would feel sexy in any of the items. We’re huge Armani fans, and though he features many collections that are great most of the time, from the priciest to the most affordable ones, they all represent his company and this one gives him a really bad reputation.
