Our list of the Top 10 Worst Dressed Celebrities for 2009 is here. You would think the ones on it last year made it again, and although some of them continued to make fashion offenses, we had to add new ones to our list. We don’t blame celebrities anymore than we do stylists. However, a celebrity should be able to know what feels “right” on them. Nonetheless, Hollywood goes with the hype on fashion stylists instead of recruiting new ones. We recommend that they touch untapped talent, hit the best universities known for fashion and start interviewing, and looking at portfolios there’s lots of talent out there. Some stylists can dress themselves perfectly well, yet be total failures when it comes to dressing others. You can only blame a stylist but so much, in the end, you chose him/her for the event. That being stated, celebs who made our worst dressed list  are:

• Lady Gaga: Sure, she is gorgeous, has an amazing curvaceous body, but her “uniqueness” turns out to be ridiculous 9 out of 10 times. We’d love for her to glam it up for once and look like the true lady and entertainer that she is. For now she is the Queen of ridicule and bodysuits. Read more »

BEST DRESSED

BEST DRESSED: Olivia Wilde in a gorgeous lavender dress, Julie Benz in a sophisticated greenish gray gown, Rumer Willis, we love the red hair on her, and that Purple Passion dress could not have been more fitting (though we weren’t thrilled about the belt), Elizabeth Banks picked the perfect gown to adorn her hourglass figure, Kate Beckinsale, just like her BFF Mrs. Beckham, is always striking! Drew Barrymore wore a baby blue dress complimenting her eyes, we didn’t like the hairdo, but this did not make us omit her from our best dressed list. Read more »

Television networks aren’t content with the new Calvin Klein fragrance commercial, “Secret Obsession” featuring Eva Mendes. TV executives asked Coty (the company behind the fragrance) to make it more viewer friendly. The ads were shot by Steven Meisle and are said to debut on September. “It really taps into the secrecy of a private moment — where it’s clear that Eva is having illicit thoughts,” said Lori Singer, VP of global marketing for Coty Prestige, “It’s somewhat up to interpretation — because of how it’s shot, and what you see and hear, and what you can’t see and hear. You hear her voice, talking about having a sexy secret.” Coty doesn’t understand what the rampage is about they claim the ads and commercial aren’t any different than those of Victoria’s Secret, that is as explicit as they got.
