Well, he is quite happy, isn’t he? Newsweek magazine calls President Barack Obama “the first gay president” (with a rainbow halo and all!). The President who is rumored to be of Muslim background, but he sternly claims his Christian faith is opposing the Bible scriptures where in 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 states, ”Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men, nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” President Obama puts religion aside when fighting for equality for all. He feels gay couples should have the same rights as the rest of us. While this act to be humane is admirable, do you feel the President knows what is like being a minority and wants to put an end to bias in the states, or do you feel this is a political stunt since elections are right around the corner? Thoughts?

It seems Unilever is now face to face with a class action suit for falsely advertising their Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion 30 Day Smoothing Kit product under the Suave brand. Suave’s “at home alternative” kit advertises that it will act as a smoothing keratin treatment when in fact it has done more damage to consumers than any good to their strands. Law firm, Wasserman, Comden, Casselman & Esensten, LLP, in Los Angeles has taken the case and found that this product also contains Tetrasodium EDTA and DMDM Hydantoin, which is a form of Formaldehyde, a human carcinogen known for causing Cancer. We will keep you updated on this action lawsuit and hope that Unilever will recompense these women as they rightfully deserve for being mislead into thinking they would get beautiful hair in 30 days, but instead they lost most of their hair in less than 30 minutes.

I love pink lipsticks and lately I’ve heard so many people raving about NARS Schiap lipstick I just had to get my hands on it. As of now, I cannot stop using MAC’s Girl About Town, which is such a pretty hot pink. I thought nothing could be brighter than MAC’s GAT, but NARS has proved me wrong. Schiap puts the HOT in hot pink. It is so bright you can stop traffic at night with your lips. Did that stop me from wearing it? No. It is such a fun color you can wear it to go partying, but not to a conservative workplace or church. Nonetheless, I love it for those days I go for daring. It’s a show-stopper!
