Victoria’s Secret has done it again.  Every year they give us creative designs, a great performance and real live angels.  Can’t complaint! In case you missed it, you can view the rest of the highlights of the Victoria’s Secret 2008 Fashion Show here.

High-heels do not only heighten your stature, it gives one the appearance of nice toned calves, a flatter stomach and better posture. There’s nothing we dread more than having women tell us they CAN’T walk in high heels.  A true Fash diva needs to know how to walk and run in heels. Trust us, you’ll get there. The problem is women see those exaggerated extended heels and think to themselves, “I could never walk in those.” That’s the wrong mindset!  It really is as easy as 1-2-3. The thing is NOT to be scared. If you can walk in those ugly as heck thick pumps, you also CAN walk in stilettos, you just don’t know it yet. The key is to TRY them. Sure, you will wobble, slip and grip the first few minutes, but then you’ll get the hang of it. Practice makes perfect and fashion isn’t an exception. Here are some pointers:

• Find shoes that are comfortable. If you want to start out with kitten heels (stilettos that are 1.5 inches or less) those horrid little things are a fine start. If you are feeling fierce, then go for the 2-3 inches ones instead, you will do fine!
• Make sure the shoes fit comfortably and that they are your exact width. Just because they are high doesn’t mean they have to kill your feet. If you like real comfortable shoes go for nubuck leather and comfy foot beds. Make sure they are non-slippery if they are you can always buy grips for them.
• Found the perfect shoes? Alright child, start walking. Don’t try to be TYRA BANKS in them. Neither fancy walks nor baby steps—walk NORMAL. Try it.  After you’ve practice a bit you can try and show off in them for now just try getting used to them.
• Walk back and forth, pivot, and continue walking. Who cares if you look funny keeping your balance, this is way easier than learning how to roller-skate. Go on girl, we think you’ve got something here!
• Think you’ve got it? Now, here comes the HOT STUFF. Pretend you are Heidi Klum. Strut your living room catwalk girl! Pull those shoulders back, hold that head up high, strut, strut, strut! You are a winner not a beginner. Swing those hips, turn to the left, now turn to right…you are a DIVA! It’s your world we’re just living in it!
• Now back to reality, those things can break your neck. If you are ready to use them in real life, walk carefully. Grass, concrete, grates, cracks, stones or drains are dangerous! Stay away from them. Make sure you know where you are walking and always walk with confidence. It is essential that any and every woman learn how to walk in heels especially stilettos, which are so sexy. Besides, do you really want to be the only girl in flats at the party? Walking in heels isn’t as bad as you think, and when you try it, you’ll know what we’re talking about. Thank us later.

ALL women want to look and feel beautiful. Even those who say they are too old, do not care about their appearance, or that they aren’t into fashion…are LYING. All women want to look and feel pretty, but pretty to whom? Someone else. I observe men and women and while men are always on a hunt, they want to hunt good looking prey no matter what their caliber is. Women know this. This is why they go through hell and back to look gorgeous. Men are oblivious! They don’t even realize the effort women put into it. We exercise, watch we eat, wear killer shoes, shave/wax (waxing is PAINFUL). In addition, we wear skirts in pure winter to look sexy, it takes us hours at the salon to dye, cut, curl or straighten our hair, it takes precision to do our makeup too! And all of this for a measly compliment, “Gee, you look nice.” Well, thank you buddy, we kind of figured that out right after we came out of the hot mutilating dryer minutes ago! I just think it is funny how much time us women put into ourselves, and yes, we do it for us, but we also do it for our partners/audience as well. And it is rather hilarious how these men have no idea what women go through and if they’re reading this I thought they really should.

One of my favorite people to visit is my dentist. I’m obsessed with my teeth and I try to take good care of them. Recently, I went for my cleaning routine and of course, they gave me a goody bag that to me is a reward for keeping my teeth healthy and clean (they give it to everyone, but it makes me feel special). The bag includes dental floss, toothpaste and a toothbrush. Nothing out of the ordinary, right? Wrong! The toothbrush they placed in the bag was a Dr. Collins PERIO toothbrush. Jessica Alba attends the Club Campari, 2009 Campari Calendar launch in Milano, Italy.  Alba is such a gorgeous woman! There’s no denying red suits her, it’s the perfect hue for the holidays.  The dress wasn’t our taste, but we must admit she does look alluring in anything she wears.  Below are some of the breathtaking images of her for the Campari Calendar shot by no other than the best of the best, photographer, Mario Testino. We love celebrities. They are beautiful and talented artists who enlighten us with their singing, acting, dancing, modeling, comedy or reporting. We almost feel as if we cannot get enough of them. But in all actuality, we CAN. The limelight is such an addiction to these stars that they do not know when to quit. They defy age, bump youngsters, retire, become bored, and come back up on the scene to prolong their longevity. And we’ve had enough already! These women need to sit back, relax, know that they are legends and QUIT. You know why? Because we said so, that’s why.
