Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips seem like a genial idea, promising a salon effect all the time, there’s no dry time, lasts up to 10 days, available in 24 fashion-forward styles, easy to remove with nail polish remover, set, press, and go! I saw the reviews on YouTube, it looked so effortless and pretty I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it!  But I set my hopes too high: Firstly, they cost a pretty penny, I paid $10.49 for mine. Secondly, you must have lots of PATIENCE as this takes time from setting to pressing to trimming. Thirdly, I felt like a 4 year old putting stickers on my nails (I made a huge mess and ended up trashing them). The verdict? Waste of my time and money.  Thanks, but no thanks.

Many stars did shine at the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards, but many also lacked luster.  We narrowed it down to the 10 WORST dressed ladies of the night and they are:

1. Tilda Swinton (What was she thinking? Someone get her a straight jacket, you have to be nuts to wear something like that!) [Dress by: Jil Sander]

5. Scarlett Johansson (Good job there granny!) [Dress by: Elie Saab]
6. Leighton Meester (Yawn!) [Dress by: Burberry Prorsum]
7. Halle Berry (This would’ve looked great on her… 20 years ago.) [Dress by: Nina Ricci]
8. Heidi Klum (Perfect dress to take the kids out to the park in, not for a red carpet event.) [Dress by: Marc Jacobs]
9. Angelina Jolie (Christmas is over, Oh Christmas Tree!) [Dress by: Atelier Versace]
10. Michelle Williams (Boring.) [Dress by: Valentino]

These 10 GORGEOUS women have PERFECT bodies, and they had the chance to adorn it with a beautiful gown.  They flopped big time.  These dresses were dull, boring, extremely conservative or too revealing.  Ladies, ya’ll need to make your stylists work a little bit harder for that cash.

Helena Bonham Carter had to be the WORST of the WORST dressed at the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards show.  Unruly hair + mismatched shoes + a disastrous Vivienne Westwood gown = Fashion atrocity.

EOS lip balm is supposed to make you smile, but it actually made us frown. They promise long-lasting moisture, yet it left our lips chapped and dry during this harsh winter season. EOS is more pricey than the average ChapStick, so we expected, at the least, good results. We love that it is organic, Gluten-free, Paraben-free, Petrolatum-free, Phthalate-free, and that the container is super cool and uber cute, but does it work? NOT at all! We gave it a shot, but let’s just say, things did not go smoothly.

White pants are only acceptable if you’re Tony Montana or Scott Disick.  If you’re not either of these 2 individuals you shouldn’t be caught dead or alive wearing them.  Pink shirts we absolutely LOVE on men.  Those we’re okay with.  If you insist on looking like a pure little angelic virgin then the correct way of wearing white is when buying eggshell or ivory linen pants with a tee or cotton top combined with nude/brown sandals, let’s say, for the beach.  Otherwise, we don’t recommend it.  And don’t get us started on white shoes!

Just Cavalli Womenswear S/S 2011 show during Milan Fashion Week  gets a “D”.  We get it, this is the affordable collection of the Roberto Cavalli label, but how much cheaper did they want it to look?  Cavalli is known for using the most wonderful and exotic animal prints/motifs on his fabrics, but this upcoming line made us frown upon it…big time.  Overly-sized clothes do nothing for a woman’s figure. Was he going for a pajamas/Woodstock look? All in all it was quite disastrous, and rather unflattering to say the least.

Burberry Prorsum S/S 2011 show at London Fashion Week in London, England was quite a fright.  Trench coats with spikes, dresses that looked like scrubs and tights with knee pads, who they borrowed that idea from…Lindsay Lohan? Not what we had in mind.

• KayCee’s-dress was not absolutely horrid, but she could’ve opt for something prettier. We know she’s full-figured and we love how she went for a print, but that shouldn’t limit her.  She needs to call Queen Latifah’s stylist for tips.
• Alexis Winter-too dull.
• Anna Paquin- We find this woman absolutely beautiful, but this dress did not give us the wow factor.  If anything, we found it rather ugly, here’s yet another thing that sucks for her. Read more »

Naya Rivera garnered the WORST of the worst dressed title at the 62nd annual Emmy Awards this year.  Her hair and dress was all over the place.  This is such a complete disaster we don’t know where to start.  The gown is horrendous and the hair looks like cheap horse tail badly rolled up and plastered on her head, and the makeup was just too plain.  Rivera is gorgeous, she has an amazing figure, yet she went for a look that killed her best attributes instead of bringing them out.  Better luck on your next red carpet walk.
