Jada Pinkett Smith at the premiere of “Lakeview Terrace” in NYC.  Is this the new Hollywood look for women? Let’s hope not, she’s a doll, but she’s got too much makeup on, which is okay if made to look less visible. Pinkett-Smith is 37 years old, but she looks a lot older in this image. PALE MAKEUP

CHARLIE BROWN

Models showcased the pale look for Charlie Brown’s show at Sydney’s Fashion Week. Designers love to experiment with everything from cosmetics to clothing.  You know the rule fashkiddos, don’t always follow a trend. This pale look will make you seem like a Return of the Living Dead zombie and we’ll believe any minute now, you will crawl out of from under our bed and eat our brains.  If not, we’ll assume you’re on drugs and that you haven’t slept for days. The point? Stay away from the pale look unless you are a professional and can pull it off.

CLINIQUE (SPRING 2008)

CLINIQUE

Clinique’s spring makeup is here. I love Clinique’s cosmetics so much I can almost swear by them. The quality is really good and the makeup lasts hours! I just appreciate how much this company caters to neutrals and nudes. As the colors aren’t too intense, it goes great with all complexions and the women always look natural, never overdone. I would say all of their products are my favorites thus far, no disappointments yet. Their loose powder is awesome and their eye shadows are spectacular! Clinique ‘Nude Blush’ Spring 2008 Collection includes: Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo $17.50, Clinique Cream Shaper for Eyes (Limited Edition Duo) $13.50, Clinique ‘Colour Surge’ Butter Shine Lipstick $14.00, Clinique Blended Face Powder & Brush $18.50, Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blush Trio $18.50, Clinique Lash Power™ Mascara Long-Wearing Formula $14.00.
