The 60s and 70s was a significant period not only for those on a quest for equality, but also for artists, fashion designers, musicians and entertainers. Above is Rita Moreno (she’s now 80 years old!) accepting a Tony Award in 1975 (She’s the only Latina to have ever won all four of the most prestigious awards an entertainer can win: The Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony). Just fell in love with that white dress with the plunging neckline, such beautiful flowing fabric. And the turban is just jaw-dropping. I think she was missing a nice pair of big earrings. But still think she looks lovely as ever.
